Grown Up Soda

Grown-Up Soda, or GUS, is an outreach of St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Parish to all 7th and 8th grade students!

As a group our goal is to discover the life-giving waters that Jesus promised- that our thirst for more would be quenched. Most soda these days is made from loads of salt, leaving your thirstier than before! Together we are in search of a soda for grown-ups. This soda from above may seem less sweet at first- but it’s all natural. The truth is- God alone can quench our thirst!

Junior high tends to be the first stage in our lives that we begin to recognize our faith as personal. Research has shown that teens in early adolescence have questions about God, and a hunger for spiritual and social connection. At Grown-Up Soda we accept questions and present teens with the reality of a loving personal God through meaningful relationships.
